How to use Cascade

Full setup from account and CLI install through secrets, dashboard lanes, doctor, and first ship — with a commit tag or the default APK path. Flutter is available; React Native is available for supported Android and iOS projects. Choose your framework below.

Flutter

Account → install CLI → login → init → fill and push secrets → enable lanes → doctor → commit → ship. Expand each step. Reference tables also live in Docs.

1. Open cascadeci.com/register
2. Choose Solo or Organization and enter name, email, password.
3. Enter the six-digit code from your inbox.
4. Finish any profile / workspace prompts if shown.
Disposable emails are blocked — Cascade sends job results to this address later.

Troubleshooting

Project seal not on the website: By design. cascade init writes the seal into cascade.project.yaml.
Tagged commit, no job: Confirm the lane is enabled, the tag is at the start of the commit message, cascade doctor is clean, and workflow + project files were pushed to main or master.
No tag, unexpected delivery: With no commit tag Cascade defaults to build APK (and email if the Email lane is on). Use a leading tag for a specific lane.
WORKFLOW_TAMPERED: The generated Cascade workflow was edited. Restore it with cascade init.

How to use Cascade

Flutter

1Create a Cascade accountSign up at cascadeci.com with a real email (OTP verification).▾

2Install the Cascade CLIOne-time install from pub.dev. Needs Dart (included with Flutter).▾

3Log inLink the CLI to your Cascade account in the browser.▾

4Initialize your Flutter appFrom the project root — creates/links the Cascade app and writes project files.▾

5Get secrets → env file → cascade matchObtain Play / Apple / keystore values yourself (steps below), paste into cascade.secrets.env, then cascade match configures release credentials and available automatic status access.▾

6Set default deliveries in the dashboardTurn on only the lanes you want. Enabled lanes gate every run — tags cannot force a closed lane.▾

7Run cascade doctorChecks login, project files, Cascade workflow, and whether required CI secrets are present.▾

8Commit Cascade filesCommit seal + workflow + example/guide. Never commit cascade.secrets.env.▾

9Ship (tags or default)Push to your repository's bound default branch. Use a tag for a specific lane, or no tag for the default APK path.▾

10Read your Release Control CenterScan all Apps and both stores; open an App for attention, history and status refresh.▾
